This policy is applicable for any request (even if internal) to the Association to publish any publication other than its serial publications.

  • Any proposal must be refereed by two persons who might reasonably be expected to be familiar with the field.
  • The theme should be expected to be of interest to the majority of the membership.
  • The theme should further the Association's efforts to meet its charitable aims and objects.
  • The costs of the publication should be capable of assimilation into the Association's budget.
  • The authors should be prepared to assign full print and on-line copyright.
  • If time allows the matter should be taken to the Board for decision. If not decision is delegated to the Editor of Regions, Chair and Treasurer with report to the next Board meeting. NB Use of email decision-making in this context.
