RSA Travel Award

Apply for up to £200 funding towards your travel costs to attend a non RSA event.

Fantastic opportunity to help you towards your travel costs to present your work, network and participate to world wide events within the field!

Recipients of the travel award must be a member of the Association at the time of the application and at the time of travel (non-members are encouraged to apply and join at the same time).

So far, this year (2009), we have had 8 successful applicants and they are:

• Silvia Gullino (UK), Early Career member, Kingston University, who attended a 5 day field trip to Naples (23-29 February 2009) to investigate a series of new underground stations that have been linked up with a new public art programme.

• Ed Wall (UK), Individual member, who is due to attend the Institute of Urban Design meeting in New York, USA in November 2009.
• Joanie Willet,(UK) University of Exeter, Student member, who attended the European Society for Rural Sociology Congress, 17-21 August 2009 in Vaasa, Finland.
