The Regional Studies Association North America

The new partnership between the Regional Studies Association and the University of California, Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies, Luskin School of Public Affairs, offers unique opportunities to engage in a wider international discussion regarding regional planning issues with students, researchers and practitioners based in North America, providing direct access to resources, networks and knowledge exchange opportunities within both organizations.

Working at the interface of research, policy-making and academia, RSA-North America aims to reach out to scholars and early career researchers, supporting cutting-edge research, high level knowledge exchange opportunities through its international programme of events, and the publication of research through its three international journals Regional Studies, Spatial Economic Analysis, and Territory, Politics, Governance, two magazines Regions and Regional Insights, and Regions and Cities book series.

The UCLA-based US team is currently exploring avenues by which North American scholars can more effectively access and utilize the RSA's many academic assets, increasing opportunities for scholars at all levels to advance both their careers as well as cutting-edge scholarship at the institutional level.
