Regional Urban Systems and their performance

This RSA Research Network looks at the dynamics in the spatial organisation of regional urban systems and how urban spatial structure affects the performance of (firms and households in) cities in economic, social and environmental terms. In this, the main goal is to provide a more thorough assessment of how and why the spatial organization of urban regions is changing, how this is linked to regional performance and to translate this new and innovative knowledge into evidence-based building blocks for regional development strategies.
