Mediterranean and Balkan Regional Development

This Research Network aims to examine the role of local culture on regional economic development in the Mediterranean and Balkan periphery. The first workshop was held on 25th - 27th October 2007 in Romania. The topic of the workshop was 'Is tourism enough for local development? High expectations and real impact in the periphery of Europe'.
